Tumble Tavern is a standalone, Farkle-inspired fantasy dice game for Windows PC on Steam. The familiar question remains: bank the points you have earned, or risk them for another throw?

Roll, hold, bank. Or risk a Ruin.

Start your turn with six dice. Set aside a legal scoring combination, then decide whether to bank the turn or roll the remaining dice. A throw without a scoring set causes a Ruin: your unbanked turn score is lost, while points already banked stay safe.

Score with all six dice and Second Wind makes the full set available again. You can keep building the turn, but the score is still at risk until you bank it.

What changes in Tumble Tavern?

You choose your six-die loadout from nine kinds of dice. Their scoring bonuses encourage different holds, so the dice you bring influence the combinations you want to chase.

You also equip three runestones from a collection of eighteen. These spells can protect a turn, affect a throw, or put pressure on a rival. Together, dice and runestones give you choices before the match and during each turn.

Know Farkle already?

The roll-and-bank rhythm will feel familiar, but this is a variant with its own scoring and effects. Farkle rules vary between versions; use Tumble Tavern’s in-game scoring information rather than assuming a rule from another edition applies.

For a first match, notice how a held combination scores before chasing another throw. Banking protects that turn’s points. Rolling keeps the opportunity open and risks losing the unbanked total.

Solo rivals or a shared table.

Play against computer-controlled opponents in Quick Wager, progress through twelve Campaign fights, or keep a streak alive in Endless Gauntlet. Local Duel lets two players share one screen and take turns.
