If the dice table is one of your favourite stops in Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, you may be looking for a separate game built around that kind of decision. We make Tumble Tavern: an upcoming Farkle-inspired fantasy dice game for PC.

This guide is written by Guildhelm Studios, the developer of Tumble Tavern. It introduces our game for players with that interest; it is not an independent review.

Tumble Tavern is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of the creators or publishers of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. All screenshots on this page show Tumble Tavern.

The shared appeal: one more throw.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II includes a dice minigame commonly called Farkle. The community’s Dice reference documents that minigame and its rules.

Tumble Tavern also centres on holding scoring dice and deciding when to bank. A Ruin loses the unbanked points from the turn. The appeal is deciding whether your next throw is worth what you could lose.

Two different kinds of game.

In Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, dice is part of a wider historical role-playing adventure. Tumble Tavern makes the dice match the central game, in a fantasy tavern with magical runestones.

For the other game’s current features and availability, see the official Kingdom Come: Deliverance II store page. This comparison concerns the scope of the games, rather than claiming one is better.

What Tumble Tavern brings to its own table.

Choose six dice from nine kinds and equip three runestones from eighteen. Play a Quick Wager, tackle twelve Campaign fights, or face successive rivals in Endless Gauntlet. Local Duel supports two players taking turns at one screen.

Tumble Tavern has its own rules and scoring effects. It is not a recreation of KCD2’s dice minigame, and it does not include that game’s world, characters, or quests.

Is it the game you want next?

If you want a standalone fantasy take on Farkle, explore how a Tumble Tavern turn works. If you want the historical adventure around KCD2’s dice tables, Tumble Tavern is a different kind of game.
